AU. It's 1931 and the gin flows cold (and the piano's hot) at The Rebel Speakeasy. Rey's saving her pennies while splitting her time between serving drinks and working as a maid for Mr. and Mrs. Solo in a small Washington town teetering on the brink of the great depression. A big black dog starts following her on her daily treks between her jobs, and at night a man with a scar across his eye sips whisky and watches her work. Political tensions are brewing, rum is being smuggling across the lake, early winter storms are blowing in, and Rey is about to find out what it feels like to be kissed.
