I never feel as if I draw her face consistently, so I’m trying to get better at that. Been a busy summer full of projects but, I’ll try and share more soon!

Finished pagedoll commissions for the month of April! I loved making all of these and appreciate the support 🩵

Most were YCH slots offered on DA/FA, but I tried out a few customs as well. Gonna try out some furry/anthro poses next, so stay tuned my fellow furbies! lol 👏

I’m going to experiment with a simpler/less-rendered version to see if I can find more of a balance between both price and time spent. I’m thinking maybe a cel-shaded style or something…? 🤔 Could be fun to try out a new style, if nothing else!

And thank you for the compliment and feedback! 🩵 I think you’re right that developing a cheaper + simpler/less-rendered version of my badges would be the best thing to try out. Someone mentioned $35-$60 range so that seems fair! 👏

I’m struggling with pricing mainly because I know how tough things are right now and art is a luxury. I’d like to keep my prices as low as possible to appeal to tighter budgets but also not sell myself short…? I suppose I could explore smaller/cheaper traditional art options. 🤔

Is $115 + shipping too much for a traditional con badge these days?

I’d like to open for a couple of slots soon but I had to raise my prices just a bit to try and cover the time they take me to make. It’s about 6-7 hours each 🫠 if I could work faster I would hnnggg

Korra had her spring grooming session + a bath on Friday and….yeaaah this is why she needs a professional every 3 or so months because WOW 🙀

Second pic is just after the groomer left. She looks so much better now and you can tell she feels lighter/better, too! 🩵

Recently received this sample from Zap! Creatives of a keychain prototype for my Shiloh charm 🩵 the colors came out a bit too saturated but the quality of the charm itself is great (I like the double layers).

Now to see how it holds up over time!

My fella and I spent five days in Costa Rica last week for a friend’s wedding and had a blast! 🌴

I’ve never been to a place where all the local flora/fauna was completely different. Toucans flying around, wild monkeys, hiking in rainforests, tapir crossing signs…it was WILD and I loved it 💚

I bought a new laminator as a precaution but in the end, I think it was my laminate sheets being too old? So my old machine still works 😮‍💨

Lesson learned: refresh laminate sheet stock and also run it thru the laminator 2-3 times if it looks cloudy or the seal line isn’t crisp!
