the puffy new ones are nice to look at unsleeved as a display piece though

i like the old gold rares, but the newer ones that have the puffy borders were really really prone to misprint issues in my experience, and they absolutely stand out in the deck depending on the sleeves you use. they kinda tend to stick in small sleeves, as well, kinda hard to unsleeve them.

i was really trying to kill this guy on gunlance and hunting horn for so long, and just barely couldn't get there on either, assuming they would be better than the glaive set.... completely forgetting that i'm just him with the glaive...

i could never be instant gratification-pilled because man it feels great to make visual progress over time. i've only been playing plastic guitar games for ~10 months and in that time i've gone from hardly being able to hit half of this to just banging it out no problems.
