As for the game being too hard- there’s really only one bit so far that I found unpalatable and outside that Ive managed the game with my feet, so

I don’t think EVERYTHING needs to be signposted, but I dunno, maybe if it were, or I had some indication for how many fleas I needed to move the caravan, which is also apparently mandatory, I would have more fun with the game.
Maybe it’s supposed to be communal but even then my friends had no idea.

🚨SILKSONG SPOILERS🚨
I was locked in place doing every damn thing I could think to do and then I found out the reason I wasn’t unlocking a crucial quest was because I didn’t talk to a town guy who gives me a key to a house.
I find this neither fun nor rewarding when I accomplished it.

Super Metroid and SotN are masterpieces and part of why that is are the clear goals you intuit from the tools you have and the places with gaps
Too often there’s areas in Silksong where you just had to know to go up there, or walk through a thing.
I don’t find it particularly rewarding when I do.

I am pretty far in Silksong and I think I should say how I feel
It’s not that the game is too hard (which it is but it’s fine, there’s a place for that) it’s that progression and exploration are unrewarding and too weird
I have no idea what’s left to be explored and what needs to be done
