Sen. Dan Sullivan isn't taking that chance.
He's up for re-election next year. Team Sullivan's campaign emails have gone from touting Trump's endorsement and selling

Sullivan's votes this year aligned 100% with Trump's positions, according to this analysis and Congressional Quarterly. (His alignment during Trump's first term was a bit lower, as calculated by a different outfit.
Last year, before Trump took office again, this group says Sullivan aligned with GOP positions on 72% of votes.)
I asked Sen. Lisa Murkowski (2025 Trump alignment: 91%, as of yesterday) if she thinks Congress is an effective check on presidential power, as it's meant to be, per the Constitution.
She cited two recent actions: Her vote with Democrats on a resolution to block Trump's
bombing of alleged drug boats, and her decision to join Democrats on a Supreme Court brief challenging Trump's use of emergency powers to impose tariffs.
"I think, yeah, that's where the checks are," she said.

You don’t need to buy a new phone every time they release one. You can switch from a corporate provider to a local one. You can stop buying new non-essential items from Apple or their app store while they comply with unconstitutional restrictions on free speech (taking down Ice Block).

If any other president in all of history said the military should use American cities as a training ground he would be removed from office that same day. The hardest thing to tolerate in all this is how relatively silent elected democrats are. It’s ridiculous.
