it's a little hard to wrap my head around all the support I get for my art at times. what people would call a "flop" post of 20 likes is still a scary amount. or the number of times I've stumbled by my art being shared...

i knew the books were a juggernaut in establishing/finalizing a ton of fantasy tropes into what they are today
and for some reason, the percy jackson movies especially were a big inspiration to twilight princess lol

the Whiplash i had when "Return of the King" flashed on screen after seeing it all these years
(worth noting I didnt even know the titles of each movie and the screens on the flight cut out the latter half of each one)

crappy thing about art that's hard to explain at times to non artists is the feedback loop of an art block. you feel crappy for not drawing so you try and do something but it turns out bad, so you take a break, etc
