I’m wondering if I’m paranoid but we’re 3000+ injections now and we’ve never cleaned the Ultra2 - and I like it that way…
Interesting! We’ve never once went above 20ng…
10ng is a little better than 2ng but I don’t see an advantage at this flow rate going higher. Maybe with ICC? (AGC)

We’ve tried a range between 2-10ng on column and didn’t think ICC would be necessary. Library is the same predicted human we use for everything. I’d love a better suggestion!
Okay y’all. I’m at a complete loss. DIA is better on EVERYTHING on my Ultra2 except plasma digests. Neat, PC, PCA-N. DDA (pasef) works better. Coisolation FDR artifact? Anyone else see this?
I didn't know there were 15 human body fluids.... but the preprint is missing key information. I couldn't reproduce this study with the methods provided. Were bands cut out of gels and then FASP'ed? How many bands? Cool topic, tough read.
Cool…. ‘Cause US kids are totally lining up for 10 years of student loan debt for mid-tier salary jobs in academia.

The WSJ Editorial Board is sick of RFK too.

"What’s going on here has less to do with healthcare than with a campaign by the plaintiffs bar."

Apparently RFK's trying to influence the appeals for a case his buddies lost against Tylenol.

Opinion | Trump, Tylenol and the Plaintiffs Bar
The acetaminophen link to autism is based on weak evidence pushed by RFK Jr. and his legal allies.

Great conversation! Lots of fun! Thank you @proteomicsnews.bsky.social and @benneely.com for the invitation! #TheProteomicsShow. And we talked #HUPO2025 for which the regular registration deadline is tomorrow (Sept. 26) #TeamMassSpec #Proteomics #Bioinformatics
Continuing our highlight of the upcoming #HUPO2025 in TO, we had @mlaval6.bsky.social on #THEProteomicsShow with me and Ben @proteomicsnews.bsky.social. We don’t know hockey, but we still talked cool bioinformatics stuff. Find it wherever you find fine podcasts or here anchor.fm/theproteomic...
That was fast!

I snapped a picture of everyone (including organizers from both @us-hupo.org and @hupo-org.bsky.social )from today's workshop. Thanks for inviting me. It's a topic I wouldn't have thought of on my own.
Early Career Researcher- No cap, you can still register for today's webinar on how to maximize your conferences (bruh) us02web.zoom.us/webinar/regi...
I wouldn’t have bought several inductively plasma coupled quads over the years if it had! They cost 3-10x as much! No joke, the last new Thermo GC-single quad I ordered was only like $45k.
...and disbelief suspension paused....and run ruined when chapter 8 features a scientist trying to figure out what a metal is by GCMS....
(It just says Dr. Shelby on it, not Slipknot or In Flames repeatedly)
Right?!! Before we planned this last second experiment (mouse were killed for their brains, we reutilized) I brought up the fact only I have a (Slipknot and In Flames embroidered) lab coat. Shelby got one at her defense party the next night!
YEAH! And Jesse, was this at your home in California? That's a different species than the ones hanging out on my kid's toys in PA!
One of my MD collaborators said something like "I don't care what the proteomes are like in cells that incubated in organ dissociation enzymes for 1 hour" 💡I'm happy to report my team can now dissociate cells for single cell proteomics without long enzymatic dissociation! Paper coming fast!
Wait. Does blog traffic go UP when I’m too busy to post?? Cool. Whateva. Grant 17 of 2025 is go. SilkSong was worth the wait. And NEW LORNA SHORE ALBUM!
