Remember the white moderate that MLK spoke about, on obstructing progress, well, he now comes in different shades, has been diversified. So, pay attention to the new ways that the language of wait for civil and economic rights are deployed.

Be skeptical of views that say, its too ambitious, not feasible because it only serves those who long benefit from oppression, except use these neutral language of efficiency/procedure to block progress.
