I live in Sweden which is a monarchy and it is nothing like the above. Even though our king is living a life no ordinary person has ever lived he is still an educated military officer of highest rank, with his whole life dedicated to representing Sweden and its people. Israel and North Korea are the only countries that don't declare their nuclear weapons arsenal for inspection/IAEA. And soon Iran will join them, since Trump tore up the inspection agreement with Iran in his first term. Likely because Obama made the deal and not him.

I understand what you mean. I just think that it's extra important to report when a high ranked public figure is lying, and it makes it even less understandable that the person still is trusted to represent the people. I'd say it would be more understandable if the media were not reporting it.
