Fuck Amazon. I’ve been boycotting them since January. But of course, I can’t ever stop interacting with them. Even without being a Prime Member, I still “own” a bunch of content I got that’s located on their servers. That’s so not what owning means.

• This week, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth will not meet service members holding shaving waivers during his South Korea visit, an email from the 51st Fighter Wing and an Air Force official confirmed.
• After a September 30 memo, Hegseth issued guidance reverting to pre-2020 standards, limiting waivers to temporary medical conditions like pseudofolliculitis barbae.
• The Sept. 30 memo specified waivers are now temporary for medical conditions like pseudofolliculitis barbae (PFB), a painful skin condition common among Black service members and worsened by shaving.
Unit commanders were told to begin separating service members with shaving waivers after extended treatment, and the guidance dismantled the prior five-year waiver policy requiring shorter renewals, Hegseth ordered earlier this year.
• As part of the Far East tour, Hegseth joined President Donald Trump on a trip including Japan, Vietnam and Malaysia, with his beard crackdown drawing notable media attention.

I personally prefer Methylphenidate to Adderall. The latter makes me edgy. It absolutely can affect sleep, but it’s always worse when you first start. I find that a 12 hour time release pill can keep me away for 14-16 hours. So if I forget my time release, I don’t take it late.

Here's the thing. You have ADHD. Therefore, the new (and novel) tool is amazing. But soon, it may stop working, and that's not because it's a bad tool. It just will lose its novelty. When that happens, remember that you haven't failed. You just need another new fun way to get that thing done.

What amount of progesterone are you on? I'm on 100mg + 0.0375mg patches of estrogen. I was on 0.05mg, but I had a couple of kinds of side effects and had to go back down. Being an old lady is hard. Not that I was ever a very good sleeper at any point in my life.

I left Spotify a few years ago because of Rogan, and I've been using YouTube Music since, but I realize Google isn't exactly good. But there is no alternative to YouTube. There really isn't. And since I can't stand ads, I pay to keep them off, and that gave me YouTube Music for free.

Trying to be ethical is so exhausting, but I'm gonna keep trying. There is almost no candy for Halloween that's not on the BDS list. I'm planning on getting granola bars (not Quaker bc BDS) and boxed mac and cheese because of the SNAP benefits going away.
