I guess I don't really factor scariness into my feelings about horror movies because so many of them aren't scary to me. so, not scary, but still great. (I'm also guessing that a lot of the class/political commentary would be lost on a teen.)

The People Under the Stairs isn't really scary at all, but it IS fun as hell. I highly recommend watching/rewatching.

I'm the same way, I love it but I can't revisit it too often. most horror movies aren't scary to me but that one's an exception. and it's just SO sad - which makes it even more difficult to rewatch.
