not really a fan of the constant paranoia reading technical material, seeing bolded, bulleted lists and "it's not [x] – it's [y]" all over. imagining the exposure to it on a wide scale making people default to writing like that in self-fulfilling perpetuity like a mind virus. and not the hot kind!
