It had a much more difficult road to publication and getting on people’s radars than Our Lady (women serial killers and girl power in the 80s versus satanic snuff films in the 70s), so it’s touching to see Beasts of 42nd Street neck-in-neck with it on GR…!

We hope we’ll be able to fill an entire panel truck of food to distribute to them. As a former Guinness recognized Tetris Champion (really) I’ll be periodically visiting the truck through October to reorganize the contents and maximize the amount of food we can fit inside!

Considering how indispensable Friedman’s book is it’s a fascinating change and I dare say it’s probably still #3 on this list. My big guess is the popular of Forty Deuce is due to the lack of photos in both Bill/Michelle’s book as well as mine, a regret I’ve spoken about at length…
