Wow, this is somehow my first time seeing a post by the AJA. I feel there's a strong correlation between how early you use the term "woke" derogatorily and how deeply fried your brain is.
I'm not in the UK but the new greens leader (Zack Polanski) is doing a stellar job imo. The question of viability depends on if they get the people power.
I have submitted a complaint. My first! That interview was shocking
IDF says the breach was crossing the yellow line. Palestinian Civil Defence say the victims were in a safe zone. Given the track record, I know who I'm more likely to believe.
Lots of defence of the club in this article, but a key point made at the end.

"The Centre for Public Integrity’s executive director, Catherine Williams, said the club offered 'an invaluable opportunity for monied interests to build relationships with members of parliament and their staff'."
It's previously been announced that GitHub would be included, and now they say 4chan won't be?
Yeah when we say suburb it's closer to what the US calls a neighbourhood, it's not necessarily referring to THE suburbs. Idk why we decided to do it differently

Absolutely wild. Israel targeted and massacred 31 journalists and media staff in Yemen. The second-deadliest attack on journalists ever recorded. The Israeli regime is built on war crimes.
Yes, for a while, but the tone of the Harbour bridge + nation wide marches was different (except newscorp).

I've seen many posts from people in Gaza thanking people in Australia for marching for them. That it gives them hope and the strength to keep going. It does matter
I have seen the shift in the mainstream media. They report on us now, where for years they hadn't.

And I always believe, even if it achieves no change, we show the people in Gaza our efforts, that we are trying, and that we have not abandoned them. That to me is worth it.
I understand, but I was talking about people I specifically know, and not the general population. The people I know do have the ability to do more, but they don't. I was airing frustration here, but I try to lead by example irl.

The marches are almost always very peaceful btw.
Overt display is important to show the scale of public opinion. When we are alone on social media, we are isolated, invisible and ignored

But when hundreds of thousands of people march in the streets we are visible, and it shows that this is not just a fringe issue.

Idc if YOU go, do whatever
Buying things from Palestinian owned businesses can help more than you think, if you have the means.

Distance is obviously a hurdle for a lot of things, but everyone has the right to call their MP.
The people I'm talking about live in/near the city where there are a lot of opportunities to protest, fundraise, hold/go to events to raise awareness and show support. So they have the opportunities, but don't do much more than like instagram posts.
I was wrong, he was just a very typical american guy
I know many people who are not fine with it, but not so "not fine" with it that they'd do anything. People who think their "silent support" is enough. Maddening
I've started the arduous process of moving my email to proton. So far so good I'd say. They also have a calendar as well!
Speculating but I think the Kirk shooter was another school shooter who wanted notariety.

We place on acts idealogies that we understand. But we are very bad at understanding the motive behind school shooters (because they're so depraved).
I would've thought it'd be the other way round. Script being AI and the animation not, since LLMs are language models first.

Visual mediums have more "tells" than written, but both often feel very uncanny.

Either way, I hope it flops
Add another point is that approximately 8% of present-day Gazans voted for Hamas.
My only comment on Taylor Swift getting engaged is that engagement rings with massive diamonds are so fucking ugly to me. Maybe it's also the combined fact that they're tacky and a symbol of exorbitant wealth.
There's a Q&A on the abc that will alledgedly be answered by Albo at 5pm

I wonder if they will pass on my question about sanctioning Israel 🧐
South Australia has the strictest phone ban in public schools (amongst other initiatives), and they've reported improved engagement amongst students www.education.sa.gov.au/department/m...
Can we maybe do something about the genocide first? There's no point to this if there aren't any Palestinians left

If genocide isn't your redline, then you have no redlines.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge was closed temporarily as tens of thousands of Australians made their voices heard against Israel's genocide in Gaza. #FreePalestine #3E
