Hey man of science with your perfect rules of measure, can you improve this place with the data that you gather?

Frustrating that so many people seem to not recognize the complexity of "solving" homelessness, and it's not a yes or no question. Especially considering people are still in tents in parks under Harrell right now.
I'm still baffled that people bought those attacks. I do think Harrells many backroom dealings and minor scandals were under-reported by the mainstream local media outlets (most of which endorsed him). He pretty clearly has run a transactional administration in city hall in a number of instances.
Still wild that basically half of registered voters didn't vote. Especially considering how easy it is to vote here.
One candidate lives in a $4M lake front mansion and is worth $15M. One rents a one bedroom Capitol Hill apt with their family of three. Which is "working class"?
Wild that timbers have had such a revolving door of keepers that 40 wins is the club record. Love Steve!
Seriously. They should just change the name to the Eastside Times at this point.
Case in point: @alexis4seattle.bsky.social is coasting to victory as an incumbent. She actually gets stuff done!
And that's the exact kind of leadership the last 30 years that has made the city unaffordable, despite insane amounts of wealth here.
And their definition of "young" keeps going up. Now it's anyone younger than 50?!?
"Well, we gave them Capitol Hill. What more could they want?!?"...
"I've got mine, so screw them kids" energy....
Nevermind that "progressive" WA is one of the most regressive taxed states in the country.....

"The most regressive states in terms of taxation are, in order, Florida, Washington, Tennessee, Pennsylvania and Nevada."

New research found that poorest fifth pay a tax rate 60% higher, on average, than the top 1% of households

And the other candidate is actively attacking his opponent for her difficulty (and parental help) with modern childcare in Seattle!
The new SPOG contract will make Seattle cops some of the country’s highest paid.

Among the biggest beneficiaries will be the mayor’s protection detail, who made more than Bruce himself last year.
Someone calculated it on here the other day that his 6 guys made an average of $364k per year.
And actually USES other modes of transportation (besides just for a photo op).
Lots of Seinfeld treasures at the thrift store this year!
I spent an entire spring break in college trying to burn seasons of Seinfeld onto cd's (it was 2001). Felt pretty foolish when these came out.
How about $2.4M for his security detail?
One of the candidates rides the bus every day and runs a transit non-profit. Seems that category is a pretty obvious choice.
