i remember that era vividly, i was learning a lot about anatomy and how to draw multiple bodies in any sort of congress, but i destroyed all of it. i eventually found comfort in game dev, which my parents hated but couldn't get violent about, so it was my safer rebellion

i hate to break it to parents and adults everywhere, but i was drawing erotic (and, specifically NSFW) art when i was in elementary school, and i only shredded and burned it because i was afraid i would be harmed by my parents if my parents found it... so, imo, parenting issue made me unsafe

that's really cute. i move my two computer chairs around between rooms so my cats think they're taking my chair sometimes, since it's what they love to do. or they can keep one warm for me :V a small chair might be a more manageable option, thanks for sharing!

i sometimes hate the confidence with which people blast blue-light glasses like gunnars and shit, because when i bought a pair of gunnars as my first tinted lenses, i didn't change my diet, my drinking, my work, or anything else. but i went from 3 migraines a week to 3 migraines a year

it's not just not being able to pay for it, either. i keep seeing artists i already sub to on patreon barely surviving due to some combination of financial concerns or rock-bottom depression and other mental and physical health needs for breaks and care. a whole platform being cowards ain't helping
