Presentiment of Death (PSVR2) looks great, sounds good and has a neat idea, but falls flat due to technical issues, no aim assist at all with an inconsistent at best weapon, and barely any content. Avoid until fixed.

I absolutely loved this sequel. The revenge story was fantastic and the core gameplay is so much fun. The game also does a great job of making you invested in the side content with all the items and skills you can unlock.

Up Left Out is a somewhat abstract mobile sliding tile puzzle game, but it has a tactile quality and intuitive rules and I #JustBeatIt. Not an all-timer, but a nice vibe and an okay way to pass a bit of time.

Goat Simulator 3 was a amazingly fun sandbox game. They took everything that made Goat Sim 1 great & improved upon it. The little nods to different movies and games made me laugh quite a few times. Its a goat for sandbox ragdoll titles for me. 5/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

#JustBeatIt @polykillpodcast.bsky.social No.212 Zombie Raid (ARC). While obviously best played with an actual light gun, it's still fun blowing up zombies to a bloody pulp. Mind, the level design is repetitive, and enemy variety is limited. Regardless, it’s still a strong horror arcade experience.

Fairly chill and short puzzle platformer where you have to use bombs creatively to propel yourself to difficult places. Had a very fun time although it might be a little too easy for my taste. However the charm makes up for it.

#JustBeatIt @polykillpodcast.bsky.social No.211 Magic Knight Rayearth (GB). Patch by LIPEMCO! It surprises with charming sprites and clean visuals that capture the anime’s spirit. Sadly, the gameplay is so easy it barely challenges. I enjoyed the 1 hour game, but it's very shallow for an RPG.

#justbeatit Garfield’s Scary Scavenger Hunt, a browser-based game I played purely for the @polykillpodcast.bsky.social bingo square. Turns out
it’s a minor cult classic—SkiFree for a different generation. Relatively painless, and if I couldn’t find anything with President Garfield I’ll take Liman.

Doom 2016 was a gory good time. The game kept the insane rip n tear feeling and dialed it up to 11. The bosses give a good challenge even on easy, and overall it was a really solid reboot.
