Finally got around to recording a practice session with my new Schecter 👻
And there it is, we're bringing System Shock remake to Switch and Switch 2! 🎉
Not even the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 are safe from SHODAN, with the critically acclaimed System Shock remake COMING SOON to both platforms! 🤖
Once it's Friday night though? You know exactly where I'll be, powerwashing 😎💦
I wish I could do a launch day stream to chart my progress to 100% completion for PowerWash Sim 2 but my company has an exciting announcement of our own today 👀
The time has come, Washers 💦

Slide into those suits, grab your favourite nozzle and get ready to explore all Caldera County has to offer!

PowerWash Simulator 2 is OUT NOW on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2!
It's wild, the Razer Kitty Headphones are among their top-selling products and main buyers are women 😩 Razer's marketing team could've easily had both people in the ad wearing a pair of headphones, gaming together, and muting out the sound of a loud apartment neighbor (or anything else) 😅
I can't download the video to share in full, but I can't believe Razer in the year 2025 put out an ad where the entire premise is a guy using his headphones to mute the sound of his gf trying to talk to him 🤦‍♀️
How's everyone managing to keep it together right now? I've been past my breaking point for a while, the only thing keeping me going is knowing I have no other choice.
It's sad to realize my old friend group from when I was a games journalist are no longer my friends, but also a positive because I've made so many new friends while working in game dev and these friends actually like me

I think that's a part of it but in that instance too Aerith and Cloud are both healing through each other 🥹 they have a lot in common, which to me is very romantic and sweet
My theory is Aerith is supposed to be the canonic love interest to Cloud. The game opens with Jessie throwing herself at him, and him being uncomfortable. Then moves to Tifa, but she's tied to his past trauma, so he keeps her at a distance. Aerith is the only one who's properly gentle with him.
I read it more as him being traumatized and not wanting to get too close to anyone given what happened to his family. He's aloof because being aloof keeps him from further pain. That's a good point though with Aerith being good with kids, it translates well to being gentle with traumatized people.
Very true, also in the sections right before Wall Market we see Cloud starting to bond with Aerith. It's clear he genuinely likes her and enjoys her company. To go from that to him being dead silent while she's getting ragged on makes no sense to me 😅
Replaying FF7 Remake while sick and once again getting mad at Cloud for not standing up for Aerith at Wall Market when people kept calling her plain and homely and "not like Tifa". I might write an entire article about that section, because it pisses me off every single time.
Like I could barely get through my morning shower now I'm sitting here reading through hundreds of angry comments about a work decision I didn't make and have no control over, beyond sharing those comments with the people who did make that decision, which I'm currently working on doing
Trying to work while sick with COVID is making me sicker 😭 why must I always get sick at the most inconvenient times
The mental gymnastics of AI supporters saying AI "removes human bias" or is "better than humans" when it's humans who created the damn thing in the first place and human data that trained it. It's also humans funding and allocating resources to it.
I've heard the same thing, it's really concerning especially with so many companies using ATS now and there being no real audit system in place, I've been recommending my job hunting friends apply to smaller companies over bigger ones because smaller companies are less likely to use ATS 😩
Instead of a Switch 2, I decided to treat myself to the Zelda OLED that I've always wanted 😇
