This makes me feel like I did when the Taliban blew up the Buddhas

The Epstein Ballroom it is
Why does everyone keep calling it “The Epstein Ballroom?” Please stop repeating “The Epstein Ballroom” because it is not called “The Epstein Ballroom!” Don’t tell the news that it’s called “The Epstein Ballroom” and please don’t repost this!!!!!
My first thought was: at least trans men can use the men’s bathroom
THIS!!!
The most well paid jobs I had were the least useful to society and the most important work I've ever done was completely unpaid.
The idea that people’s “contribution” is defined by how much they earn rather than the work they actually do, or how hard and unpleasant that work might be, is rather abhorrent.
I’m feeling the way I felt when the Taliban destroyed the Buddahs

He’s got my vote!
On day one of the Willis presidency I will wear a hard hat myself and take a sledgehammer to his fucking ballroom.

When I was broke AF I wasn’t spending money on music. 🤷‍♀️ I’d record it off the radio and make my own mix tapes. That $12 is gone when you stream.

I see it kinda like renting vs buying a house.
They are willing to spend it on Spotify. Why not use it to build your own library instead.

Listen to the radio to find what you like, then buy what you like. That’s what we did in the olden times. We could only listen to stations that broadcast in our city, now you can listen to any station.
You could buy a whole album every month with that!
Build your own music library.
Me too!
I’m part of the demographic that thinks Spotify is a laundry detergent

"Tasha Grant said the words until she could speak them no more."

"'I can't breathe,' she repeated 23 times."

Body camera footage "depicting when Grant was found unresponsive is missing at least the first 30 seconds."

Video Captures What Led to Tasha Grant’s Restraint Death
Tasha Grant told a deputy and hospital staff 23 times that she could not breathe. Instead of an evaluation, she got handcuffs and skepticism.

Stop saying “renovation.”

Better words:
Desecration
Violation
Demolition
Destruction
Retribution
Vanity-wrecking-ball
This seems to go against the whole: Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.
In Pittsburgh, we have an organization called 412 Food Rescue that collects that food and distributes it to people in need. Check to see if that exists in your community, and if it doesn’t, maybe you could spearhead starting it.

Ngl, seeing “you’re holding the nazi tatted racist white man to impossible standards” as a Black woman, aka the demographic ACTUALLY held to impossible standards, pisses me off deeply. The bar is so low for them and they still can’t clear it, but we’re “ideological purists” for pointing that out.
The doc asked the depression screening questions: Do you have an impending sense of doom?

Me:…..yes?…. I really don’t think that’s a good question right now…

(Been on antidepressants/anti anxiety meds for 40 years since I was 21)
I have found that If you are a trustworthy person you trust other people and if you aren’t trustworthy you don’t
The problem is that we believe men until they are proven wrong but we don’t believe women until they are proven right.
“Sir, isn’t it your JOB to know what’s going on???”
