The Coral 18.10.2007 Sheffield Octagon.

In support of a great album “Roots And Echoes” and I got to hear my second favourite Coral song “Music at Night”. But most memorable in being my lad’s first concert aged 14. He loved it.

Think it’s my favourite TE song. Has to be the original 7” mix on Zoo for me though as that’s the one I heard first on Peel and bought. Probably by mail order from Small Wonder.

Didn’t go and not sure why so I probably tried to get a ticket and couldn’t.
Steve Hanley talks about it as a high point in his time in the band. He also said that surprisingly, no footage appears to exist.

These are great but I’m sure they’re not the ones JS posted. Those were also taken outdoors. Think I remember he labelled them as summer 1975. Unless I’ve completely misremembered which is also possible.

I think it was Jon Savage who posted some pics on the other place from summer 1975 just after John Lydon joined. Never been able to find them again.

Saw them on that tour with Drugstore supporting. KOD were such a great live band too. Looking forward to seeing Patrick with Julian in Hebden Bridge next month.

It is. Think the album is underrated generally. “One Of Those Sometimes Is Now” is massive, floors me every time.
