I think after 3 big projects of mine I'll hop on zombie mercs project

And I have a lot of ideas to fuck up Scout's face or head in general. Then I'll start zombifying Soldier, also reusing his necromorph head (I'll start working on necro-Soldier after zombie Scout)
Classic zombie version, inspired with RE2R zombies Thank god I saved the low poly version of mesh, so making shapekeys won't be a problem About shapekeys, I've made the "mouth" close

A bit polished render of my random lighting setup

What 53 hours (actually 80) of Blender do to a mfer.

Also rendering this made my PC shit itself, logged me out of everything, reset every browser and cookies settings and required a reboot before working properly again lmao.

Off to the next applied courses :3
Bro this thing has 2 simple materials with a simple Principled BSDF shader node each, just different roughness values, and already looks pretty decent.

When I don't know what to do in SFM, I usually do some lighting setup and sometimes make it so hard, that I wonder that Source Engine can do this

Meantime Blender actively dying when I try to do heavy lighting setup

Yeah the course I'm taking on Udemy is called "The Blender 2.8 Encyclopedia" and covers literally anything within Blender. Curves is another one of those crazy tools that are so incredibly useful
Boosted through Blender's render engines.
Now it's onto the final course project.

After changing to Win11 cuz' I don't wanna pay for more updates, and I don't have the balls yet to switch to Linux x)

Done with learning about UV Unwrapping and Cameras within Blender.

Just the Cycle engines left to do, then the final course project, and then it's off to the next courses to further enhance workflow and knowledge on character modelling and animation.
Another 300 lectures to go x)
And it really worked out :o
I must tinker with such textures in the future too.
Yeah and you can just...do it in Blender. Don't need a third party program, don't need to tell yourself this is as far as sfm can go, nope. You just create what you need within what you model and whatnot with

I has created carbong foibah.
However, being almost done with the Node section, it will take me a while to get used to the endless possibilities and how to utilise everything properly.
Like...this was all made within Blender, just using Nodes. Fuckin goated program...
