A fix has been deployed for the Baldur's Gate 3 install issue. May have to restart Steam Deck for it to pick up the new configuration.

There's native Linux games, and wow64 likely has an unacceptable perf hit (tbd). Distro still has to provide 32bit graphics drivers, glibc, etc, at the very least.

JFY: DOOM The Dark Ages doesn’t launch on the Steam Deck and crashes during the intro. Unfortunately, I haven’t found any workaround so far. Unless @plagman.bsky.social and team are working on a fix, TDA won’t be playable on the Deck for now.

We already include fsync, which should be as fast or faster as ntsync. We developed ntsync as a general solution that'd be acceptable in upstream Wine, but there's no urgency in including it in the Deck / SteamOS kernel.

It was, and still is - we worked with Realtek and found creative ways to try to make it work with nonstandard driver quirks despite the system not being wired for it. That's one of the reasons it's still not working for BLE devices, hopefully we can overcome that.
