Please be Happy also gets alot of points for being the vn i picked up after getting sick of Yuri VNs being basically fetish material for straight guys where the relationships boiled down to "Shes gay and she has sex with women anyways heres her tits in 4k"

Theres also the comment on Wuthering Waves, a real book that I learned about from my partner, who in turn found out about it from this vn. Its a very real anchor to a story that, as mundane as it is, is a story about a fox fitting into a humanoid society

It also helps almost all the backgrounds and scenes feel like these dynamic shots rather than "We're back at the mc's room reuse the same cg for the 20th time". not that there arent repeating cgs, but i think the framing helps make them cohesive and alive.

Something that i enjoy about @vnstudioelan.com's "Please be Happy" is the way that dialog is presented withing the game. something about physically seeing the dialog show up on the screenspace instead of in a single dialog box is very refreshing and helps it feel more distinct in my head
