Too many constituents in Glasgow West are still struggling to book a driving test.

I’ve raised this issue in Parliament, seeking an update on the progress of providing more test appointments & calling on the Government to commit time to a debate on the matter.
The Govt has announced changes to the Infected Blood Compensation Scheme so that it works better for all those infected & affected.

I took the opportunity to highlight the experience of my constituent who has raised concerns with me & welcome the Minister’s comments in response.
The situation in Sudan is catastrophic & the recent massacre at el-Fasher’s Saudi Maternity Hospital is truly appalling, but sadly not the first attack of its kind.

I asked the Minister if he could explain what more could be done to prevent such atrocities by the RSF militia.

Many constituents have contacted me about Gazan students seeking to take up full scholarships at Glasgow Uni & other institutions.

Today in the House of Commons I asked the Minister for an update on the Govt’s actions to assist in the evacuation of these students from Gaza.
Under the SNP Scotland’s colleges have suffered a 20% cut in the last 5 years.

These cuts threaten their ability to train our young people for new & emerging jobs.

Meanwhile, the UK Labour Govt’s £45m Youth Guarantee is helping to make sure no young person is left behind.
As the Scottish Parliament progresses into its second quarter-century I was pleased to speak in a debate on devolution in Scotland.

The first Credit Union in Scotland, the organisation has now served the community for 55 years.

I attended the Pink Ribbon Tea in parliament to help raise awareness, mark 30 years of the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign & encourage self-checking.
