Oh, I'm sure! I'm definitely not knocking it! I can see how the more human eyes would add to the communication of emotion, I'm just used to seeing it on more cartoon-y styled characters.

There was something odd about this panel, and for a bit I stared at it unable to figure it out. Then it hit me: That is a very lovingly detailed, very HUMAN eye on an equally detailed and quite realistic BIRD head...and now I can't unsee it 😂
