Went into the only alt clothing store (my fav shop) and was surprised by the sudden number of shirts with old bands eg Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Motörhead, Judas Priest at the women's section. It was nice to see but i doubt the majority of customers (80% teenagers) know them 😅

Unfortunately, it was clear from out talk, that my boss wants to surround himself with only yes-men, even if they're less capable and refused to hear my side of the story. He already had his own person on the back burner to replace me immediately.

It does. I wonder what she told my boss as she was talking shit behind my back to even our colleagues. I heard back a few things since I'm in a good relationship with a few of them (the kind ones). They've known this rat for years now and been waiting for her to go work somewhere else.

It happened on Tuesday when we also celebrated my sis' bday. By the evening, due to lack of sleep and an emotional day, I was a bit out of it. My family kept teasing me about it — except for my dad. He knows me best, and I think he could tell that my head was a few light-years away.

Thought I had finally found a workplace I would enjoy for a long time. Then came the first bitter pill to swallow: the salary turned out to be ridiculously low considering I’m basically office manager.
I still don’t have a real problem with the actual work, but the colleagues are extremely toxic.
