Yeah I know people say anxiety is bad, but mine has just been collecting all the possible things that can go wrong so far. Once it has an exhaustive catalog of every possible mishap, it’ll move on to suggesting solutions and then you better watch out.

Hydnellum peckii is such a crazy thing to see in the wild. Stumbling across this, especially if you don't know what you're looking at, could be a bit intimidating. I can only imagine the things this fungi has been mistaken for by the unsuspecting and uniformed observer 😱 🍄📷 📸🎞 🍄 📷 🌱🌿 🩸

Dark red droplets, created by this mushroom's guttation process, adorn the edges of this toothy mushroom. The teeth grow on the underside of the mushroom while the surface is a bumpy, velvety dark red/purple. It has a wide base, unlike typical mushrooms.
