Palestinian baby. It's about 2nd class citizens in a nation. Palestinians in Israel are not equal citizens. That is apartheid. Even more ironic is that it is geography that was recently their homeland.

Indeed. I'm not the one complaining about anti-jewish rascism so I am curious. I want to recognize it when I see it. And to "distinguish" it from valid commentary about Israel's brain-dead foreign policy or apartheid domestic policy.

Never heard that. My in-laws are in Iowa, I always hear tales of bitter cold winters there. I do recall working some pretty nasty winters in Kansas City. Was glad to fly home to San Diego.

I'm no longer involved enough to comment, but one constant has always been the hype. The 1980's had a big AI investment boon. Nobody remembers. The many orders of magnitude in computing power has now made some old problems tractable, but the hype will always outpace the reality.

That's great to hear. I think it would be perfect for SD, but probably only if I converted to solar first for my electric.

I didn't look into it too deep for our duplex in Mass. So I don't know how much of an issue it was. Midwest is a big area. It sounded like extremes (say Iowa) would be an issue
