The Republican Party created the idea of Washington DC politicians can't be trusted & their constituents somehow think of them as guys on their team instead of politicians. Not sure how to break through, but Dems won't ever be considered on "their" side & new voters are apathetic.

That's all well and good, but with the media such as it is, this strategy of imitating Trump will not be allowed to work with Dems. Mandami & AOC notwithstanding, Dems aren't given the leeway Trump gets. Even Republican politicians don't get Trump's media latitude.

It's time to come back to democracy with a more progressive rather than ideologically damaging conservative outlook. They'll only ever get a bare majority if at all, and dismantling Canada to suit south of the border tech bros isn't a good ending for anyone.

Cons believe in pay to play. And rich bored ideologues want to run the country. It's an oligarch thing & conservatives have been primed since the reform party hijacked the PC party. Also what Harper has been working on since 2015. Orban, Lukashenko, Trump, Bolsanaro, Berlusconi & Melei installed.
