Those were definitely the best years of study I've ever had.
Later, I went to a video game school as a student game artist.
And it was difficult and it wasn't really for me (classes, atmosphere, students, mentality)
Although I still met some fabulous people there and also learned a loooot

Yes I did !
Even already in high school !
(I couldn't do traditional studies at all. I was deeply bad and demoralized by them, so I moved to a new country to go to boarding school at a truly incredible art school - the school looks like Hogwarts and is magnificent - it was founded in 1878!)

But moslty for the design of the previous corridor, not the sky itself

I'm happy with this rendering, I studied carefully how to style and simplify the shapes of the clouds (I really wanted to be able to do that because I'm so in love with clouds in illustrations)

A Gothic corridor, surely from a dark castle perched high in the forgotten mountains
( The ground of this wing of the castle has remained untrodden for too long, who knows what secrets might lie at the end ? )

Yes I agree !
I was also hesitant with red but I found that blue made the scene more peaceful (and that was the goal here)
