Normally I would agree, but right now violent street battles with ICE will play into Trump's hands as he wants an excuse for martial law and he isn't getting it. A general strike could be effective. Fight hard but fight smart.

Most of the people investigating causes of autism have been sacked. There is a strong correlation between studies like these and payouts to RFK jr.s legal firm. Science is about finding answers to questions. This is not a good way to do it.

Vaccine development is not driven by profit. Pharmaceutical companies need to be bribed by the tax payer and protected from the many spurious lawsuits before they will even consider making them. Pfizer would rather sell Viagra (which incidentally causes a lot of heart problems). Viagra ban anyone?

No, I still don't see any sign of anti vaxers shutting up. Or admitting they've been wrong about every vaccine preventable disease for the last 300 years (Lady Mary Wortley Montague has some very interesting comments about anti vaxers in the 18th century Ottoman empire).

I do own a house and appreciate the difficulties involved in this. I have no interest in owning gold, although I often sold a variety of metals for scrap, including, on one occasion, gold.

Nope. If unvaccinated people get autism at the same rate as unvaccinated people, you have to throw out that theory and move on. Not taking the COVID vaccines is a lot more dangerous than taking them. With some other vaccines like smallpox these days, the safest option is "everyone vaccinated but me"

Ask Astra Zeneca how profitable their not for profit COVID vaccine turned out. I guess we won't be getting any more not for profit pharmaceutical research any time soon. Also please could you Americans stop overpaying so much for your healthcare, it's pushing up prices for everyone else.

People generally buy gold because they expect it to hold a stable value. Investing in crypto feels more like betting on horses to me. Personally, as my home is in an area threatened by gold mining at the margins of profitability, I wouldn't buy gold
