If I had the option of not being reliant on my Dad for a roof over my head…I might still stay. Even if we have a few good words every now and then, it’s better than nothing and he won’t be around forever.
As for the particular sibling who needs a punch in the face, I can avoid him. Thank goodness!

I have so much more compassion and empathy for people who have lived their lives like this. Not that I didn’t in the first place, but with experience comes all the extra horrible stuff people do to each other.

one of the reasons bluesky works differently is because early users waged a successful fight to get the devs to prioritize safety features to protect communities at risk

as a result bluesky now has a suite of controls that i think are unmatched on social media
