Your regular reminder that, yes, the country is broken, and no, it wasn't immigration that did it.

The social decline in the UK was and is about ever-growing wealth inequality. For the sake of society's survival, we need a wealth tax. www.theguardian.com/inequality/2...
Lifetime of earnings not enough for UK workers to join wealthiest 10%, report says
Research finds it would take average worker saving all their earnings for 52 years to match wealth of richest 10th of society

More photos from the #BloquonsTout protest at Chatelet. These from my camera.

I don't understand why we have to play chaos Olympics. I live in France and can confirm that five PMs in under three years has led to a chaotic situation. The US is obviously also on fire but nobody is saying it isn't.

Note actual immigration figures for comparison.

The % of people saying immigration is Britain's biggest problem doubled between 2012 and 2015 yet actual arrival numbers stayed virtually the same

Thanks friend! Hope to see you over here sometime soon.

Very kind! I don't think I've been described as forensic before and I quite enjoy it. 🤩

I can heartily recommend Phineas - he's forensic, driven, and has a strong passion for holding accountable the powerful idiots screwing up this planet

NEW: 100 years after his birth, Frantz Fanon is mostly remembered as the voice of Algeria’s independence movement, but @phineasjfr.bsky.social explores how his experience as a psychiatrist at a run-down asylum in France shaped his radical ideas.
