I've been re-watching "Person of Interest". The segments where Harold talks about the implications of AI surveillance are so much more pertinent today. There is a scene where he unplugs the machine, not because it rewrote it's own code, but because it lied saying he had written it. Priceless.

the Reagan speech on tariffs used in the Canadian commercial, that POSOTUS and The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute are claiming was edited - implying Reagan's meaning was distorted

It was edited for length but in this speech, as in other of his talks, Reagan was anti tariff

What he's not saying and that Trump telegraphed today is that Trump simply wants us to fold, to concede. He's just like his hero Putin. He idea of negotiations or dialogue is when the counter party does exactly as he wants. You can't come to a deal with a pig headed self-centered idiot like that
