Tried many times to get into this one. Got up to part way through the third episode/act. Just can't man, and this was when it was contemporaneous. Love love love it's vibe. But it is so boring + slow to play, and combined with it's disassociated atmosphere it literally puts me to sleep.

Imma step up to batt for the Zune. Oh and the Lumia phones. Way better UI/UX than android at the time, arguably better than iOS. It had real magic, only hampered by it coming out late in the scene so never got the app support it needed. No biggie in early smartphone days but became a big deal later.

IME, no... doubt its improved too with the newish leadership and lack of updates. I'm the same, OG Spotify user for decade+, huge library across tons of genres/tastes that I dip into all the time, heavy use of discovery features. Nothing really compares for ppl who have tastes beyond Grammy music.

Love this. A walk through the woods has always been a centering place for me. More recently, just doing stuff like cleaning the house or laundry can be too. Something about moving with purpose massages the thoughts.

One of the four horsemen of the "you're actually old now" dadpocolypse is seeing discussions & articles about a social group you were very much part of (or knew intimately from the outside) being talked about in the same lense that people talk about the hippies or the beatniks

Yeah back when blfc was a weekend con the crowd was its own level of annoying lol... a handful of provocative assholes, a good amount annoying kids, and a good amount of ooglers that aren't the usual excited "oh cool furries!" public

Probably a little bit of selection bias from people who decide to head to a casino on a weekday haha. I bet you're really only deciding to do that if you're full on gambling addict mode or retired and find it an easy way to kill time.

Or the very close on block but not main hotels like the hyatt, which don't feel like hotels that are on the witch hunt agenda. Idk about being able to throw an adventure cru style frat party with amplified sound and DJs but other parties perhaps like play parties/food parties/hang out parties/etc?

IIRC this was only at the Hilton and only as a response to a Friday incident, Marriot and most Saturday parties at both hotels weren't an issue. So still pretty murky what the hotels actual stance is
