I do, & it sells itself. We are not the biggest fish, but we actually do have the best product. That is the hardest part of my job because everybody would say that. But we actually do. Name recognition is our issue. We are a west coast company where I am the first rep east of the Mississippi.

The way the itinerary reads is that they do some of their things and then there are specific times they go to the exhibit hall (where I will be). I’m also invited to all of the schmooze functions like meals and after parties where the networking will happen.

Attend the conference. I’m not sure the logistics. It’s our first time doing this conference so I’m going in kind of blind.

It’s an educators conference and I’m one of 50 or so vendors. We have a niche product that most decision makers are aware of and I’ll have samples and swag items along with a raffle drawing. Driving traffic to the hall shouldn’t be an issue because they are all required to be there.

It’s possible I’ll be “on here” even more than usual. Maybe so, maybe not. None of my co-workers will be there and I have to man a booth at the conference for 2.5 days. I imagine there will be tons of downtime where I am just standing alone in a conference booth.

I just heard a mom tell the kids “you behave or you’re gonna get in trouble”. I wanted to tell the kids that is hollow and what does that even mean? Announce the specific trouble or else that’s an empty threat. I gotchu, kids.
