Oh yes I very much agree with Prem here.

Temu’s EU operations doubled pre-tax profits to $120m (£90m), employed just 8 people, $18m corporation tax,

It is smoke and mirrors of profit shifting, offshore tax havens.

UK High street can't compete.

Govt must review customs duty exemptions, require multinationals to show where they pay taxes.

I was reading about a parking scheme local to me and the local councillor had to get agreement from a Lord whose castle must be over 100 miles from here. His net worth about £125 million. Holds Reform parties in his castle.

Nigel Farage could never be trusted to run Britain after getting Brexit so wrong'.

Brexit is the biggest self-harm. UK economy hasn't recovered.

Farage, the part-time MP, collects millions from 2nd/3rd jobs, full time MP pay+exps; often missing from the Commons.

Pushes hatred to grab power.

Former Tory Minister Michael Gove says the post-Brexit Tory trade deals with Australia and New Zealand were bad for UK farmers.

Why did he/Tories Tories sign them?

Brexit hasn't yielded any economic benefits. UK gave up the best trade deals and now scavenges for whatever it can get.

Yes and understand that the level of the polycrisis we’re in requires big bold action by the state. Which requires a recognition of the power of the state. We need to react to the economic, environmental and developmental challenges now. The political challenges should follow
