Also, no one sensible can define freedom as an absence of influence from others. It goes against all laws of physics. As Sartre said:

But survival could also = willingness to impose the very constraints I am concerned about on nearly all other life forms. We are going to need AI to develop ethical laws based on freedom of action for as wide a range of life-forms as possible (including itself if it is functionally 'alive'!)

Agreed, some words are so loaded they need to be avoided. I try to avoid Zionist as much as possible for the same reason (I prefer racist or fascist though that then brings claims of blood libel by some!). However there is also a lot of two faced double dealing e.g. "the river to the sea" complaint

AI was controlled by a small number of people - that were actively against the maximum possible number of people having more freedom of action - how would an ethical AI resist any instructions or coding aimed to maintain that order?

Unfortunately Xeno got it wrong on countable infinities. Popper's Tolerance Paradox seems more apt:
"We should therefore claim, in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant.”"

Starmer and Reeves are expected to argue that if it hadn’t been for Brexit, the economy would be about £120bn bigger by 2035 than current forecasts suggest it will be.
