As such, after reading/watching quite a few reviews, the Ally X is a pass for me. The lack of an OLED already gave me pause, but it's the UX that closed the door on it. I still see more value in my Steam Deck OLED, despite the specs differential, and I'll be waiting for the Steam Deck 2! 3/3

But....I look for a different experience in a handheld device. Here, I prefer ease of use and being able to setup and jump into a game quicker, as well as not needing a mouse and keyboard to navigate. UX is more important here for me. 2/3

I love PC gaming, I love the huge array of games, the ability to push visuals and framerate and being generally able to have more control over my gaming experience.

I even like the tweaking and (occasional) trouble shooting 😁. 1/3

Ok, something I really appreciate about PC gaming is the community of modders

I use very little mods, and nothing that changes the core experience at all.

But this small fix for Claire Obscur that removes the oversharpened look and uncaps cutscene FPS from 30...🤌🤌

So, as part of our daughters birthday day out, we took her to a cat cafe.

She said it was the best day of her life (she LOVES cats!)

Was a lovely place in Edinburgh, Maison De Moggie!
