I don't begrudge wealthy people their stuff. There is, however, something fundamentally wrong with a society that allows children to go hungry and people to live in the streets while the wealth class owns elected officials, SC Justices, multiple mansions, yachts, and private aircraft.

The charitable food system CANNOT fill the gap in its entirety for November's loss of SNAP benefits. It just can't. Not everywhere unfortunately. Hubs and I had good paying civil service jobs, a $45,000 mortgage with 9.25% interest, and 2 toddlers. We couldn't have survived on one income. We couldn't afford more than a 3-month unpaid maternity leave with each baby. I hated having to go back to work so soon.

I haven’t seen anyone talk about how Jane Doe - an Epstein survivor - just sued the Bank of New York Mellon for funding Epstein and failing to file a Suspicious Activity Report. A Mellon heir is the one who gave $130M to pay the troops. Seems bribey to me.
