You're utterly missing their point. They aren't throwing anyone - least of all trans people - under the bus. They're just not RUNNING on that issue. You get to choose what you run on. Then when in power you do what you feel is right.
The central assumption of I guess all journalists now is that the Dems can and eventually will save us. If instead the Dems stand firm and let SNAP go away and people starve, journalists' heads will explode. Same thing Putin thinks about the West: They'll cave because they can't stand suffering.
That means a message is left for all GOP Senators in the cloakroom (the room just off the floor) asking how they'd vote on a certain bill. Apparently he asked and at least one member said they would not allow a unanimous request to go forward on that bill (probably several did).

The re-redistricting edge won't be anywhere near 8 seats. 5 is pushing it. Right now it's even to maybe a slight D advantage. The big player remaining is Florida, but it's already gerrymandered to the hilt.

When are people going to realize that every tech gadget or app that is offered for sale has the ultimate purpose of selling you and your information to the highest bigger. That literally is the whole business model of modern tech.
Not really, gotta say. Those of us who work in fields like this just have no patience for broader social ideology, for anything that takes resources or energy or time away from our clients. And we get SO much of it. It's exhausting.
