Confession: I thought Father Figure was crap at first and an insult to George Michael's legacy and now I absolutely love it and I think GM would have too. 🙂 Still still think it's her worst album though musically + lyrically (Wood lyrics - super cringe and beneath her IMHO). How would you rank it?

She went overboard with Wood. I get that she was trying to show her "scandalous" side but this was pure cringe - "thighs" line in particular. Beneath her, IMHO. Music critics from The Guardian said the album was "regressive," "lacked quality control" and contained some "unforgivable lyrics." Agree!

I got into Taylor in 2010 when she was here promoting Speak Now, which, like its predecessor Fearless, I consider to be a pop album. Only her debut sounds like country to me. 🙂
