My Windows PC Kept Randomly Waking Up From Sleep Mode. Here's How I Fixed it
You may not know what woke your computer up, but Windows does. The next time it wakes up unexpectedly, open the Start menu and search “cmd,” then right-click the Command Prompt entry and choose Run As Administrator. Type powercfg -lastwake and press Enter. If you’re lucky, it’ll give you a clear answer. For example, the last time my workstation woke up, it was due to my cloud backup program running its scheduled backup for the evening. In that case, your search is over, and you can adjust that program’s settings or uninstall it to stop the problem. If that didn’t give you useful information, I've also given powercfg -waketimers a try.

Almost All EVs Can Power Up at 23,500 Tesla Superchargers: Here's the Full List
The next brands to get Supercharger access are BMW, Subaru, Toyota, and Volkswagen (VW), according to the Tesla website. Volkswagen has struggled to give its owners access, delaying it multiple times due to "technical difficulties," as we first reported. But once this crop of companies goes through, nearly the entire industry will have access, save for Stellantis, Mini Cooper, and Rolls-Royce, which have not announced rollout timelines yet.

Leak From the Sky: It Turns Out a Lot of Satellite Data Is Unencrypted
The issue doesn’t affect SpaceX's Starlink, but data sent to higher orbiting geostationary satellites, which can also provide communications to mobile carriers, commercial buildings, and government users in remote and rural areas. A team from the University of California, San Diego, and the University of Maryland investigated whether such satellite signals were encrypted, as the same signals can be easily intercepted over the air using consumer-grade dish equipment costing around $800.

Don't Like Windows 11? It's Never Been a Better Time to Make the Switch to Linux
If you've ever considered making the jump to a different operating system, now is the perfect time. You could switch to Mac, part of Apple's walled garden, or Google's lightweight Chromebook platform. Still, you're likely to find many of the same issues here, so I'd like to turn your attention to Linux. Despite what you may think, it's easy to make the jump with just a little patience and some command line acumen. Here's how to install a Linux distro and download apps to get you started.

Lenovo Yoga AIO 27-Inch Review: A Potent All-In-One With Panache
The entry-level $929 model includes a Core Ultra 5 125H chip, 512GB of storage, and a 2,560-by-1,440-pixel touch display. Our $1,319 review model, exclusive to Best Buy, steps up to the newer Core Ultra 7 255H processor and doubles the storage to 1TB. Curiously, it omits touch capability—a feature that you can get in the otherwise-identical $1,599 version.

You Can Soon Shop Walmart Inside ChatGPT. Will That Help It Compete With Amazon?
They can ask the chatbot to recommend things like "Christmas gifts for my dog-obsessed cousin," and it will return a personalized selection of products. "For many years now, e-commerce shopping experiences have consisted of a search bar and a long list of item responses," says Doug McMillon, Walmart president and CEO. "That is about to change."

You Can Still Upgrade to Windows 11 for Free (Even If Your PC Is Incompatible). Here's How
Microsoft has strict Windows 11 upgrade requirements. To qualify, your computer needs Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 support, Secure Boot enabled in the BIOS, and a supported processor model. The TPM restriction is especially onerous since it puts many older Windows 10 PCs out of the running. Thankfully, Microsoft’s PC Health Check tool makes it easy to know if your PC is compatible.

Your Apple Watch Can Once Again Measure Blood Oxygen Levels. Here's How
Why is that important? A low percentage of oxygen in the blood can be a sign of a pulmonary or cardiac issue, or other related problem. The watch's oximeter can also take readings during the night to help track other issues, such as sleep apnea.

Liquid Web Hosting Review: Powerful Servers for Big Businesses
Liquid Web may not offer shared plans, but it does have a suite of high-powered hosting options, including VPS, dedicated, and cloud plans, which are highlighted in this review. Please note that their listed prices reflect their renewal rates, not the introductory pricing highlighted on Liquid Web's website. In many cases, the introductory rates only kick in if you sign up for a three-month subscription. In a nice touch, each Liquid Web hosting tier lets you choose either Linux or Windows as the server operating system (expect to pay at least $37 for the latter OS's licensing fee).
