Good luck to Ange in his new role. Working for a volatile owner who loves the spotlight will not be easy and he takes on a squad used to a brand of football that is somewhat different to his own philosophy.

Going to be interesting to watch what unfolds at the very least.

Our next release ... he fled a scandal. He built a sporting empire. He left behind a legacy—largely forgotten in his homeland. Meet Con Jones. He's already in the #Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame. But he's ignored in #Australia—until now. buff.ly/H7dilpM

Takes me back a couple of months. Had this exact experience at Ajinomoto. Gave up in the end
I was a victim of this recently. Showed up for a Verdy game assuming tickets available at stadium. Directed to 7-11 where some people tried to help with the app but gave up in the end as it was too close to kickoff

From Davie Mitchell at #Rangers to Ange Postecoglou at #Celtic, the influence of Australians in #Scottish football has grown steadily over four decades. Finding a #Socceroo in a Scottish squad has gone from being a novelty to a staple. 'Socceroos in Scotland' by @paulmurphybkk.bsky.social
