How very true @robinhorsfall.bsky.social . Exactly the approach Trump, Krasnov or the Cockwomble in Chief has pretty much achieved in the U.S. He has set Republican against Democrat. He has set U.S. citizens against foreigners. He has essentially divided the country into good and bad, right & wrong.

Fully support this view. As has been stated before: stop talking about authoritarianism as if it were about to happen! Fact is it has happened, freedoms have gone, now they are legitimizing the abduction of anyone who disagrees with them. The people must stop this and now!

If you label people in this way, you open the door to ICE and other similar organizations to simply pluck people off the streets or anywhere else, incarcerate them and deny them their rights simply because they are terrorists and terrorists have no rights: right?!

It isn’t the first step, true it is something, but Trump has already introduced authoritarianism in the U.S., branding an organization as a terrorist group simply provides him with a means of setting one side against the other rather like ICE has justification to arrest aliens.
