I found a receipt from about 20k miles ago where they replaced the radiator with a full metal one and a bunch of other cooling items. This dude owns a speed shop too so I would hope he knew what he was doing. I'm also guessing they had a number of performance parts on this removed before the sale.

The Dinan intake doesn't fit. BimmerWorld sells an aFe intake that expressly says it DOES work with large headlight housings. Man, this is becoming an ordeal.

Since I am now waiting on an intake from Bimmer World that WILL fit Euro headlights, I will have time to pull the intake off and look. If I'm lucky it was that misaligned hose. If not, I'll keep trying.

Well as I was taking the air box out, I noticed a hose clamp that was not on straight. Put it on straight and clamped it down. Maybe that was it?

Also the fucking intake I bought doesn't work with Euro glass headlights and I just learned that now.

It just loses coolant to the same spot no matter how long I drive it. A/C still cold. Heat still hot. No clue why the coolant disappears.

Replacement coolant cap and Dinan intake both out for delivery today! Gonna get them installed and if the BMW is still eating coolant then the head gasket is fucked and I have wasted thousands of dollars! It doesn't overheat. No white smoke. No hard coolant hoses.
