Just finished Kanafani's 'Men in the Sun (رجال في الشمس)'. I knew what was going to happen and it still hit me right in the guts. His writing feels like a dream or a memory. There's a familiarity to it. Feels like remembering the events as you are reading. His 'On Men and Rifles' felt the same.
The plan for the weekend is to pick up a train model from the hobby shop. I want to kit bash it into a rusty tank on tracks.
I want to build a wee cyberdeck that is only VCV Rack. I know nothing about programming or electronics but I'm autistic, so how hard can this project be?
I have been thinking about the things I create (sounds, music, visual art, etc). I've found that so long as it was make in earnest, I will always be proud of it.
The way I like to experience Star Wars media is to accept that it was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. That's why the details can be murky, contradictory, or even silly.
