I can imagine that a shorter runtime might be hard to pull off with Hitchcock’s style. Also TV was still fairly new there was probably a learning curve

I was watching a long video essay and the creator decided to take a dog break. Like right before stuff got too crazy he just took a few minute to show us his dog playing.
