He doesn't care about the taste at first, in part because he's so used to seeing food as means to an end rather than something one could actually enjoy. Later he starts to realize this is actually something he has to get better at. Thankfully Birk figures out very quickly how to get through to him

Now, the first challenge is to wait a whole week before I can start drawing. 😅

Thank you! Ingmar tends to make everything a bit tough and bland because he's following recipes to a fault. Birk doesn't really mind the boring stuff, they know what kind of abominations he is capable of creating when he gets experimental 😔
