A fair point - I agree that it depends on the kind of models a particular photographers works with. Of course model privacy should be supported. I was more thinking of the photographers who are primarily working with professional art models, who gain from recognition/credit rather than privacy.

Yes -sad but inevitable IMO; w. steadily bigger crowd, people feel less connected to them & personally engage less with each. Kind of like moving to a big city from living in a village. Also, the more people you follow, the less you see posts from each unless you steadily expand your scrolling time.

IMO the technical side of photography is important only to the extent that it facilitates you doing remarkable photography, but does not do that for you. Most technically skillful photographs are boring & forgettable. The art is capturing the special something that makes the eye dwell on the photo.

Same. That’s why I still maintain a nominal presence on IG (but won’t post much more there & have turned my account to private): The great majority of models & photogr. I want to keep an eye on & communicate with are still just on IG, not Bsky. But yes, IG is soul-crushing for art nude photo folks!
